North Milam Water Supply Corporation; Plant Improvements – Various Sites Milam County, Texas:

The scope of the project includes the improvements of five different water pump stations throughout Milam County, Texas. Work to be completed includes the replacement of 8 horizontal end suction pumps, installation and replacement of pipe/valves/fittings, disconnecting of an existing 1,500 gallon pressure tank and relocate, and all associated electrical and controls. Approximate size of the project is $275,000.00 and is estimated to start in September, 2011.

City of Seguin; Geronimo Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant, Lift Station Modifications – Seguin, Texas:

Project consists of rehabilitation of existing lift station including the replacement of an existing pump and valves. Additionally, the scope requires the construction of an elevated platform which will be utilized to move all of the electrical and control panels including the standby generator above the flood plain. Construction of the elevated platform requires structural concrete and concrete piers. Approximate size of the project is $400,000.00 and was started in July, 2011.

City of Sealy; North Third Street & Garland Lane Lift Stations – Sealy, Texas:

The project’s scope includes the replacement of an existing lift station with a new 95gpm lift station including wet well, piping, submersible pumps, electrical, controls, and etc at Garland Lane. The project also includes replacement of an existing lift station with a new 1500 gpm lift station including temporary pump, conversion of an existing dry well into a new wet well, piping, submersible pumps, electrical controls, generator, slab etc on North Third St. Approximate size of the project is $425,000.00 and was started in June, 2011.

 

City of Taft; Water Valve Replacement – Taft, Texas:

This project includes and installing 30 gate valves and valve boxes throughout the city of Taft water distribution system. The new gate valves vary in size from 4, 6, 8 &10 inch. Additional facilities and work include the installation of PVC waterline spool pieces, coupling adapters, tees, MJ retainer glands, thrust blocking, the removal, transportation and proper disposal of asbestos cement pipe, valve markers, road and alley repairs and traffic control. Project was completed ahead of schedule with an approximate cost of $200,000.00.

Work under this contract consists of a new 350 gpm Reverse Osmosis (RO) system as a part of the water treatment process. The project also includes the construction of; filter effluent pump station, RO building and all equipment inside the building, ferrous chloride metering pump system, ferrous chloride storage and permeate storage tanks and transfer pumps, concentrate pump station, site piping, site civil, electrical and control systems, selected demolition, and installation of approximately 2,300 LF of 4” HDPE force main. The approximate contract amount is $1,800,000.00 and was started March, 2011.

Sheffield Water Supply Corporation; Wastewater Treatment Plant Project – Sheffield, Texas:

Project includes construction of a new 0.67 MGD wastewater treatment plant (WWTP), extension of a sewer line to the proposed WWTP, a 24-acre land application system, and decommissioning of the existing WWTP. The proposed sewer line extension consists of approximately 1,405 feet of 8-inch diameter gravity sewer and seven 4-foot diameter manholes. The proposed WWTP consists of a bar screen and metering structure; a 0.59 acre by 12 feet deep aerated pond equipped with two 5-hp floating aerators with winch and cable assemblies; and a 1.32 acre by 12 feet storage pond with an overflow structure and approximately 90 feet of 12-inch diameter piping. The irrigation system includes a 405 gpm firm capacity pump station; 6,442 feet of 6-inch diameter irrigation pipe; and eight 3-acre land application areas each equipped with a pivot spray system. This project also includes all associated electrical and control systems. The approximate contract amount is $1,400,000.00 and was started May, 2011.

This project consisted of the purchase and installation of a new Andritz belt filter press and new conveyor system. Additionally, the project included associated installations and upgrades to the electrical and controls, mechanical piping, concrete foundation, HVAC, wash water pumps, and galvanized framed aluminum platform for the new and existing belt filter presses. Project was completed on time with an approximate cost of $700,000.00.

The project included the construction of a 4 MGD Lift Station (1-35 HP Pump and 2-160 HP Pumps); Splitter Box; 410 LF 30-inch AWWA C905, DR 21 (Green) PVC Force Main; 227 LF 24-inch ASTM F679, PS 46, PVC Gravity Sewer; 127 LF 30-inch ASTM F679, PS 46, PVC Gravity Sewer; 1- 4-foot Type “S” Manhole; 6- 6-foot Manholes; and other miscellaneous items. The installation of the wet well required major excavation, dewatering, and the use of a 550 ton crane. The Approximate cost of the project was $1,500,000.00.

The work included installation of a wellhead pump and construction at the Wagon Trail Road Wellhead; installation of the raw water transmission main; and construction of the Shavano Drive Pumping Station. At the Shavano Drive Pump Station, raw water from the Trinity Aquifer is treated for iron, disinfected, and mixed with water from the Edwards Aquifer prior to discharge. Treatment of the water from the Trinity Aquifer was accomplished utilizing filtration and an onsite mixed oxidant generator. Installation of transmission main took place in the center of the road, while road remained open to traffic. Project was completed on time with an approximate cost of $1,200,000.00.

Supplied and installed new infrastructure at the City of Garden Ridge FM 2252 water plant site including high service pumps, pump building, MCC building, yard piping, site work, paving, fencing, electrical, and associated appurtenances. Approximate contract amount was $500,000.00.

This project included replacement of mechanical equipment within two large clarifiers, the installation of a clarifier sludge blow down station, removal and replacement of filter media, the addition of air scour to the filter backwash system, the replacement of inoperable valves and actuators in the filter gallery, the replacement of 3 transfer pumps, installation of liner in 2 reservoir ponds and improvements to the raw water feed systems to the existing sludge lagoons. This project also includes site work, yard piping, electrical and instrumentation. Approximate project size was $2,700,000.00

Work consisted of demolition and removal of non-salvageable materials from Digester 3’s fixed steel gas dome and digester 4’s floating roof. Replacement of digester 4’s floating roof with a gas tight steel floating roof; installed waste gas line from digester 4 gas dome to pipe gallery along with new waste gas line above pipe gallery roof tied into the existing 8” EDG; installed supernatant/sludge discharge lines in digester 4. Project was completed ahead of schedule with an approximate cost of $900,000.00.

The project consisted of the renovation of electric service, and upgrades to water and sewer services, to three separate camping loops and other locations within the Park. The major thrust was to upgrade select campsites to 50 amp electrical pedestals. Water and sewer services included installation of new mains and services. The project was completed in phases, with EXTENSIVE coordination between the Contractor, Huntsville State Park Management and the TPWD Project Manager. The Park remained open to the public during all phases of construction. The approximate cost of the project was $1,100,000.00.

Project consisted of the removal of an existing metal roof and steel substructure down to the existing built-up roof and replacement with a new retrofit sloping galvalume, standing seam metal roof and metal roof framing structure. The project also consist of the partial demolition of existing C.M.U. masonry and steel building down to the concrete slab, the extension of the concrete slab with pier and beam foundation and the construction of a new pre-engineered metal building over expanded slab. The projects approximate cost was $650,000.00.

This project provided much needed improvements to the waste-water collection and treatment system at the TXDOT Rest Area Facility. The scope included the installation of 3 – 5,000 gallon septic tanks, construction of two lift stations, Dirt work to construct wetland filtration cells, chlorine treatment, and included over two miles of pipe. Work was completed while keeping the rest area 100% operational. The projects approximate cost was $675,000.00 and was completed 15 days ahead of schedule.

Work provided improvements at the existing reclaimed water basin scope included: Demolition of existing elevated concrete platform, construction of a new pump and instrumentation elevated concrete platform, installation of a new pump and associated yard piping, relocation of the existing instrumentation control panel, relocation of an existing high voltage electrical transformer, installation of a new 480 volt transformer, installation of two new isolation switches in the plants existing 25 KVA power distribution loop, and other miscellaneous items of work. Project was approximately $550,000.00.

Project consisted of the addition of two variable frequency drives, generator, electrical building and electrical and SCADA improvements for the North Texas Municipal Water District. The owner required the electrical building to be constructed to meet the HOA architectural requirements. Additionally, due to the close proximity to surrounding homes installation of acoustical panels were required to diminish noise. Project was completed on time with an approximate cost of $790,000.00

Scope included the rehabilitation of four (4) Pressurized Filters located at the Schertz-Seguin Local Government Water Treatment Plant. Project included the removal of existing internal filter media and demolition of internal piping. Completely blasted and coated all internal ferrous metals and assembled new piping and installed new filter media. Project was approximately $450,000.00 and completed successfully ahead of schedule.

This project consisted of excavation, dewatering, and disposal of over 4000 cubic yards of sludge from 3 different sludge lagoons, installation of approximately 500 feet of sludge line, precast valve vault, manhole and magnetic sludge meter. This project was completed without disrupting any of the everyday treatment plant operations and was completed at a cost of approximately $225,000.

This project consisted of dewatering and disposal of approximately 1750 cubic yards of biosolids / sludge from two equalization basins. The dewatering work consisted of submersible pumps and a portable filter press. This project was done in conjunction with the installation of new, permanent dewatering equipment, replacement of over 19 manholes on the city's wastewater transmission line and over 375 ft of dry auger bores in different locations throughout the city.

This project consisted of replacing numerous live manholes throught out different locations in Commerce, TX. The new manholes were cast in place and were done on sewer line sizes ranging anywhere from 12 inches to 20 inches. The total cost of this project was over $700,000.

Project included station demolition, piping, bypass, and new pump installations.  This project was taken under emergency conditions, crews worked around the clock and the project was completed in less than 72 hours.

The project was completed without change orders and almost 90 days ahead of schedule.

The scope also included the construction of a 17, 000 SF tilt-wall building shell.  The project was completed on time in July of 2008. The site work portion of the project was over $150,000.00, with the building totaling approximately $2,400,000.00

The scope of this project included; selective demolition, metal and wood stud framing, and approximately 5,000 SF of metal siding. Project was completed in May 2008, approximately 60 days ahead of schedule. Project Size; $68,000.00

 
Chilled Water Extension 08C‐071

Chilled Water Extension 08C‐071, Northwest Vista College; Alamo Community College District:

This project included the Installation of 2,200 LF of 8” pre‐insulated chilled water line, and a 15 ton concrete vault. Associated Construction Partners management team worked with the owners and consultants on this project to resolve several major design issues encountered at the beginning of the task. Construction was delayed for 2 months; however ACP still managed to bring the project in on budget and 60 days ahead of schedule. The site was very challenging in that ACP was required to perform major excavation and installation of the line within the perimeter of an active college campus. Projects Size, Approximately $300,000.00, Completed September 2008.

This project is a multi‐tasked 6.6 acre 3 lot commercial development which includes a complete site work package and the complete installation and hookup of all utilities/drainage; including water (50’ bore to connect), sewer, HDPE underground drainage, concrete drainage structures, 7,000 SF Water Quality Control Basin, and communication installations.  This project budget is over $1,400,000.00 and will be completed November, 2008 at which time ACP will begin construction on over 200,000 SF of commercial buildings onsite.

Project consists of replacement of pumps and piping and includes bypassing of existing system for a sewage collection system and lift station. Owner had serious concerns regarding the amount of time on bypass due to the amount of flow into the wet well and the proximity to a creek. Once the pumps were delivered we completed the project while being on bypass for only 24 hours. Project was completed 3 months ahead of schedule with an approximate cost of $195,000.00.
